Title: For Half a Crown
Description: London, National Society's Depository. 1887, First Edition. Cloth, 12mo - over 6" - 7" tall. Yellow and black titles with coloured pictorial of a young girl in blue, black and yellow on spine and a coloured pictorial of two women and baby in blue, black and yellow to front on grey cloth boards. There is just a small amount of wear to spine head and tail. Internally there is a prize inscription to front endpaper some light foxing to some page edges and closed edges else clean and unmarked. Overall a Very Good copy with bright pictorials. 251 pages and 4 plates. A moral novel by the Victorian writer, pseudonym of Amelie Claire Le Roy. Not dated but The British Libray has this as 1887. A fairly SCARCE title A1C. Very Good/No Jacket.
