Brown boards are detached, both bear blank embossed decoration, front bearing gilt title and crest is stained, heavily worn fore edge corners, spine bearing gilt title and crests has suffered loss along the edges/extremities; front free endpaper very ragged with tears and loss at edges, foxing to title pages and frontispiece which has left brown reflection on title page opposite, most content is excellent, but a few pages are ragged and grubby at their fore edges; foxing again through list of subscribers at rear, plus rear endpaper much creased.. Fair to Good .
