This is the first printing with "Baltic" on page 182, later corrected to 'Balkan" and the letter signed "T.E.L" later corrected to 'T.E.S" on page 495. A most attractive copy of this book which charts in his own letters the career of T.E. Lawrence from the time he was a schoolboy interested in archaeology until his untimely death in 1935.
