Good condition. v, 1- 254pp. Book 1- 828pp with fold-out Map of the World & View of the Solar System plus other full page maps and illustrations. Old damp stains at prelims, internal hinge cracked but very firm. Light foxing throughout otherwise very tight and clean. Bound in contemporary calf boards with gilt title , gilt decoration between the 5 raised bands. All edges stained blue. Covers a bit grubby with wear at edges & corners.
