T. Nelson and Sons. 1890, First Thus. Hard Cover, 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. This book was aimed at schools and states that it "fully meets the code requirements in standard 3". The boards are blue, and quite worn and faded, but complete and attached. Internally the book is quite grubby with wear to the hinges. All 191 pages are in place apart from the very last one of the index. It is good example of a 19th century Teachers book, containing illustrated stories, verse, tables, and a section on grammer.The front endpaper shows owners name.
