BEATRIX POTTER The Tailor of Gloucester
London, F Warne and Co.. H. Back, 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall. Not dated, c.1918. Some loss to spine, 1cm at top and 4cm at tail which affects the titling on the spine (ESTER missing), otherwise boards intact with just minor bumping/shelf wear. Illustration to upper board - a mouse sitting on a cotton reel, reading - bright and clean. Internally intact, bright and clean with no foxing, beautiful colour illustrations. There is a crack along the join of front board to ffep, however it is tightly bound. Overall a very nice copy. Good.
