Upper board has arch shaped pictorial label depicting a squirrel in a red jacket on a tree branch. White stamped lettering to the spine, reading down. Pictorial end papers. Frontispiece and 26 illustrations in colour. Vignette on title page in black and white. Spine sunned. Neat previous owner's inscription to top of front free end paper. This is a true First Edition as collated with "Beatrix Potter: A Bibliographical Check List" by Jane Quinby. (P. 77). Very Good.
