Published by Ernest Nister & E.P. Dutton & Co.. 1910. A book in good condition with no wrapper. William is a dog and Mary a cat, the story of their short-lived reign of terror! Green cloth spine, green boards with pictorial onlay to front. Large oblong format. Full-page colour plates plus b/w illustrations. Spine and corners worn with slight loss of cloth to base of spine and tiny hole to top. Some marks to covers. Tiny dent to top edge of front cover. Xmas sticker to front pastedown. Front joint has been neatly repaired. Light page browning and foxing to contents. A number of pages (and plates) have marginal tears (a couple with slight loss). Some joints cracked. Evidence of erased pencil marks to rear endpapers. Grubby marks to contents throughout. Despit the above faults the pictures are still nice and bright and this is still a nice copy of a scarce book.
