The author was the Dorabella of the Enigma Variations,which makes this one of the important earlier studies of Elgar the person,as Mrs Powell came to know him well.The spine is slightly skewed,there is light foxing to the edges, & intermittent marginal foxing internally.The wrapper is chipped to the head & foot of the spine panel,& nicked on the corner folds,but is protected in a mylar sleeve. VG/VG.
