The Cabinet Portrait Gallery (2nd Series)
London, Cassell. 1891, 1. Binders 3/4 Morocco, 4to. This volume has been vandalised, and only twenty four of the portrait photographs are left, but from a musical point of view they are interesting. They are Madame Nordica, Agnes Huntington, Sir George Henschel, Mrs (later Lady) Henschel, Mary Davies, and Emma Eames. The binding is badly split on the upper joint, and is cracked at the first blank. The photographs themselves are clean and unfoxed, though there is foxing in the margins of some of them. Vg/N/a.
