London, Jullien & Co. 1. Pubs 1/2 Cl. / Dec. Ppr. Bds. Folio. The frontispiece is a full page head and shoulders portrait of Jenny Lind chromolithographed by Hanhart. The title page by the same printers shows a star filled sky surrounded by turbulent clouds. Internally the illustrations black and white lithographs by Brandard. The covers show climbing foliage in green over a buff background trellis, and the title is a central cartouche is represented in rusticated lettering resembling logs of wood. The boards are scuffed and soiled, and there is spotting and thumbing throughout the volume, the rear endpapers are damp stained, the hinges are reinforced with tape, and the lower free endpaper is quite badly creased and is a bit ragged and also has a neat repair in tape.
