Mayence,B Schott . (1823-4). With a music sellers stamp for J. Ewer of London who were only at that address between 1823-5. Joseph Kuffner ( 1776-1856) was born in Wurzburg and played violin, where he was a member of the Court Orchestra and was later most notable as a military bandmaster with a Bavarian Army regiment. He also wrote symphonies, overtures as well as pieces for the military band.Folio size 1st violin copy . 8pp Condition Good/VG.
