Description: Printed at St. Luke's Printing Works, London by Stanley Beaumont Chamberlain, 1931, 1st edition. Half leather binding with green cloth boards. Gilt lettering to front board. 10.25ins x 7.75ins, marbled endpapers, [xii], 76pp plus 20pp plates. Also sketch map and diagrams within the text. St Luke's was originally St Luke's hospital for Lunaticks and was designed by Sir John Soane. Given the half leather binding, this was probably intended as a presentation copy. VG.
