First edition, 225 x 145 mm, 9 x 5¾ inches, hand coloured aquatint frontispiece, engraved map, xvi pages of prelims, 328 pages, rebound in dark brown quarter calf, gilt lettering and rules between raised bands to spine, marbled boards, black endpapers. Light age-browning and foxing, mostly to margins, 2 small holes to one margin not affecting text, offsetting from map affecting the following 4 pages, several outer margins a little ragged due to bad opening, not affecting text, 2 tiny creases to the outer margin of frontispiece, long neat ink inscription on first free endpaper, otherwise a very good tight copy of a scarce book.
