Small, 4to, 265 x 185 mm, 10½ x 7¼ inches, 2 years bound together, September 1896 to August 1897 and September 1897 to August 1898, both have text illustrations, 2 pages of index at beginning followed by 164 pages, bound in pebbled red cloth, gilt title to spine. Small pale round stain to first 5 pages of the first volume, small ink spot to title page and first free endpaper to same volume, corners very slightly worn, some marking and light stains to covers, neat old ink name to first pastedown, otherwise a very good copy.
