London & New York, Ernest Nister & E. P. Dutton & Co., circa 1890. MOVABLE BOOK, ALL MOVABLES WORKING. Square slim 8vo, 230 x 230 mm, 9 x 9 inches, 6 very attractive revolving movable pictures with silk pulls, all depicting young children at play, title page and nine pages of verse by F.Gray Severne, original publisher's colour pictorial boards, brown cloth spine, decorated endpapers. Professionally recased and restitched, boards slightly dusty, two tiny lower corners missing, no loss to text or images, long closed tear neatly repaired to 1 inner margin, page edges brittle and very slightly chipped, a few have small repairs, closed tear to title page 40 mm, (1½ inch) neatly repaired just affecting text, pale age browning to margins and a little light foxing, bookseller's small ink stamp to bottom of first pastedown, otherwise a very good well preserved copy of this much loved children's book.
