First edition, 12mo, 190 x 100, 7.5" x 4", 3 panel folding hand coloured frontispiece, uncoloured vignette on title page, 24 pages, bound in modern quarter calf over marbled sides, gilt dividing line, gilt rules and gilt lettered morocco label to spine (originally issued in wrappers which are missing). Closed tear to frontispiece and small split on 1 fold, expertly repaired on reverse and hardly noticeable, slight browning to fore-edges, occasional fox spot, otherwise pages in very nice condition. A very good copy of a scarce ephemeral angling item. Westwood & Satchell, p.13. The very attractive frontispiece is by Orlando Jewitt, it is brightly hand coloured and shows 12 species of fish, 9 types of fly and has a vignette of anglers in the centre. It has the Richardson imprint underneath the image. Images sent on request.
