Bindings slightly rubbed, calf lightly marked, corners slightly worn, marbled paper slightly rubbed, fore-edges of covers slightly worn on Volume II, front inner paper hinge of Volume I starting to crack, endpapers lightly foxed, pages age-toned, very faint damp staining in upper margin of plates, occasional pale brown areas to plates, mostly to margins, a single very short closed tear to edge of map and plans, otherwise a good sound set.
