First edition, 260 x 205 mm, 10" x 8", black fake cloth, large colour plate on front (2 children in donkey cart with 2 piglets, dog and duck running), line illus endpapers, no pagination. 8 delightful colour plates, many enchanting black and white illus, many full page. Fairies, dolls, Gollies, puppies and dressed mice. Various authors including John Lea, May Baldwin and Attwell herself. Head, tail and corners very slightly worn, 5 mm chip tail of rear hinge, lacking colour plate with title which should be mounted on spine. Black and white vignette on 1st page neatly painted, little colour also to title of 1 poem and to full page black and white illus to same. Contents very nice. VG+ copy of scarce book.
