First edition, 255 x 190 mm, 10" x 7ΒΌ". cloth backed grey boards, beautiful extra colour plate by Anderson on front board of Mother drying little girl after the bath, 79 pp. Frontis, black and white title vignette and 7 delicious colour plates, many very pretty text drawings. All very young children most with toys and dolls. Spine slightly worn and slightly faded, corners slightly worn, boards bit marked, couple of very light scratches to onlaid plate, little pencil erased from endpapers. Occasional very pale fingermark to margins, 20 mm closed tear to 1 lower margin, expertly repaired. Contents very nice. VG+. A scarce title in first edition. Images sent on request.
