First edition, 160 x 120 mm, 6½" x 4¾", original publisher's orange and white cloth, bevelled boards, illustration to upper cover of child reading, 188 pages. 6 pretty colour plates of Nursery Rhymes. Expertly recased and resewn, spine darkened slightly, cloth slightly rubbed and slightly marked, corners very slightly worn, inscription on reverse of frontispiece, 30 mm (1") ink blot to 1 text page with small hole at centre due to attempts at erasure, loss of a couple of letters, a few neat entries. Decent copy of very scarce Aldin title. Images sent on request.
