Description: Printed for Frederick Etchells & Hugh Macdonald, London, 1925. First thus, Hardcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. From the 'Haslewood Books' series. Number 31 of a limited edition of 50 copies on Batchelor's Kelmscott Paper. The total edition amounted to 900 copies. Publisher's full vellum binding, gilt lettered and decorated. Printed at the Shakespeare Head Press. Very clean and sound text block. The vellum binding is entirely sound but dust soiled and darkened ( improves with lengthy application of a soft rubber ) and the silk ties are defective. Comes with a custom made, dropover, solander case. No inscriptions or bookplates. Contemporary TLS review loosely enclosed. ix + 256, notes, index of authors, index of first lines.
