Divided into seventeen chapters-; The Causes of the Decay of Christian Piety-; The Gentleman's Calling; Part 2: The Second Part of Works of the Learned and Pious-, Third Impression, wear to the extremities, the head and tail of the spine and corners are chipped, bumped corners, sympathetic repairs to the spine and hinges, some fading of the gilt, light pencil underlining to some text, creasing on the frontispiece and title, ink inscription on the title, the contents are clean and very good, the book is in very good condition, bound in speckled calf, gilt framing to the boards, six raised bands and gilt work to the spine with a gilt titled red morocco label, quarto 40 x 25cm, Hardback.
