Description: unpublished, 1754. appox 120 hand written pages Main part of the book are the accounts of the executors of the will of Benjamin Timbrell which are signed by his son William and daughter Martha Barlow 10/6/1762 There is a further set of accounts for income and expenditure with some laid in invoices and receipts for 1772 to 1826 the estate still paying out to heirs of the original executors at that time. Benjamin Timbrell was a master builder who owned a number of houses in central London so an interesting list of tenants, and an income of over 33,000 over 8 years. The will was disputed by Timbrell's daughter who suspected the executors of defrauding her. covers marked & rubbed, pages clean & firmly held with legible script, very good condition, full vellum, Folio, Hardback.
