This major and profusely illustrated paper by Margary occupies pp.29-63. He covers three main routes: 1: Rochester - Maidstone - Hemstead - Bodiam - Hastings; II: Maidstone - ingsnorth - Lympne; III: Hemsted - Tenterden - Ashford - Canterbury. The same volume also contains papers and articles on Kent churches, Farnborough Manor, Saxon Abbots of Dover and Reculver, Canterbury Excavations, Oxney, Indents, Glass of Eastwell. Bonser 2488 (recording the Margary paper).
