London, Arrowsmith. 1924, First Edition. Decorative Cloth, 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Very nice copy for the year of this description of the Sudan by an experienced traveller. Covers every are of this huge country. Illustrated with over 50 photographic plates and several maps, all collated. Green cloth cover with gold lettering to spine (still bright) and a black vignette of an elephant to the front cover. Prelims a little spotted, as are page edges, but cloth is little rubbed, and this is a clean tight copy of a book about a country much in the news today. Very Good +/No Jacket.
