An account of Mr. Ward's experiences under the drug LSD and of his conclusions from those experiences. He took the drug on six occasions, under the supervision of a medical psychiatrist, and each occasion forms the substance of one of the book's chapters. Mr. Ward draws a distinction between the fact that adrenochrome occurs in the mystic's own body, whereas mescalin, though chemically akin, is an addition from without. First edition of one of the earliest book about the effects of LSD. Price clipped. Rare in any condition. Fine/Good.
