London: John Murray, 1873. New and revised edition (hardback). 8vo, xv, 644pp. 13 colour plates, text illustrations. Original green cloth, gilt titling to the spine, gilt design to the front board. This copy was formerly in the Guildhall Library, London, with a bookplate to the front pastedown, a shelfmark to the spine and occasional stamps. The inner hinges are strained, and the extremities of the binding are rubbed. The contents are in very good condition, however, and this is a good copy overall.
