Boston and New York: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1925. First edition (hardback). 4to, 269pp. 147 illustrations on 101 plates. Original green cloth, dustwrapper. Light foxing to the edges of the text block, else the book is in bright, very good condition. The dustwrapper is in fair to good condition (rubbed, foxed, edges chipped). This book was issued in an edition of 750 copies (plus a de-luxe edition of 100 copies). Of the 750 copies, 500 were issued with a London title page (Geoffrey Bles) and 250 with a US title page (Houghton Mifflin). This copy is one of the 250 bound up for the American market.
