Description: London, Henry Sotheran. 1907, First Edition. Hardcover , Small Folio. 2 Volumes, half white vellum binding with blue cloth boards. Gilt lettering on leather label to the spine, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, xvi, 697pp plus frontis, 15pp plates ( 10 photographic, 5 drawn and 2 large folding maps ). Further illustrations, some full page, within the text. The slim second volume consists of a solander box, containing a double page pedigree key and very large folding pedigree on linen, measuring 126ins by 44ins. The box has an old tape repair to one corner. Slight discolouration to the vellum but overall a bright example. Very Good.
