Volume 1 has a flattened crease to the front board and a short nick in the bottom edge. Otherwise minor bumps to corners and spine ends. No names or inscriptions. Top edge gilt. Rough-cut page edges. Frontispiece illustration of volume 1 starting to pull away inside. There is a pale stain on page 213 of volume 1. Each volume has a frontispiece and two further illustrations - all with tissue guards. A photograph of the volumes can be emailed to you on request. Text in English. Good/No Jacket.
