Two engraved bookplates to verso of the front board. The first bookplate has interlocking initials "B" & "O" (but no name). The second bookplate has a unicorn; the motto; "Virtute"; and the name "Henry Harcourt Horn." Neat handwritten notes (in a contemporary hand) to front free-enpaper: "Del Professor Mantova Padovano Prima Edizione". The next leaf is a printed half title: "La Torriana Favola Pastorale." Followed by numbered leaves f.2 - f.19. f.2a - "Lo Stampatore A'Lettori."; f.2b - "Fabula."; f.3 - "Dicitori."; f.3b - f.4a - "Argomento."; f.4b - f.5a - "Prologo."; f.5b - f. 19b - "Atto I. - Atto III." Clean Italian text throughout, with only light staining to the top corner of the last 3 leaves. A scarce little book.
