London, Century. 1990, First Edition. Hard Cover Signed with dust jacket. A very clean copy in unclipped wrapper which is in near fine condition throughout. Two corners bumped. SIGNED by the AUTHOR on the title page with a dedication which simply reads ""Best Wishes". Two corners have very minor bumps with a slight chip to the wrapper on one corner as a result. Cassie's home is the inn her mother runs for the sailing folk. Abandoned by a sailor, Cassie finds out that she is pregnant. She marries Luke but their separate guilts cause them to drift apart. Finally tragic events reveal something Cassie had never even suspected. Very Good/Very Good.
