Frontis + titlepage +[6]pp dedication & Preface +xliii +[1]p errata +496pp. Fine coat of arms bookplate of Thomas Salwey L.L.D. of Richard's Castle Salop +rear cover with Presented to the Leicester Free Library bookplate + the Library's arms blindstamped on corner of flyleaf & following pages to ii & again on half title of notes, following three leaves and last few pages of index. Two fore-edges have a narrow damp mark. *This fine edition is often cited as the best - handsome Greek text facing Latin, good wide margins, a few pencil translations lightly pencilled into the margins. Paper crisp and clean.
