Some foxing mainly to first pages but neat, tight & clean. Includes Journey to Palmyra and its antiquities & Dr. Russel's Description of Aleppo but the main part of both volumes contain the Travels of the Holstein Ambassadors through Muscovy into Persia followed by Mr.Hanway's travels in the same regions. Sold as a pair as the voyages continue from vol.13 into 14 of this series of early childrens book on exploration, with all the charming required plates and the hand colored map.
