Some foxing and browning but neat, tight and clean. Deals with Balbo's discoveries in Panama & Pizarro's conquest in Peru and the Settlement of Brazil by the Portuguese and its revolutions. This is one of the most interesting volumes on America in this series of early childrens book on exploration with all the charming required plates and a fine map.
