Vol.3 TP in red & black +(1)=dedic. +(2p)Preface +208pp +(4p)=index TP in red an Black +(1)=dedic. +(2p)+Preface +518pp +(9pp)=index Vol.4 TP in red/black +(1)=dedic. (2p)=preface +464pp +(8p)+index. Several pagination jumps & repeats but all catchwords and all signatures correct. One 2.5" tear to upper margin and a few small marginal paper-faults. About 20 leaves with marginal worming but never touching text. A very crisp, wide margined copy collating complete. The sub-titles vary as to the periods and subjects they cover and the imprint of vol.2 no longer lists Harriman, the 3rd & 4th Vol.is "for the widow of the author" (WING 3138).
