Paris, Mequignon 1st French edition 1787 Copperplates (5 folding plates of 7) by William Bell/ Dupin sculp. . Octavo never bound so uncut 32+430pp+license leaf + plates. Half title & TP with losses not affecting print. The uncut pages are edge worn & browned but never affecting more than 10% of the margin so that in rebinding this would be cut away. Lacking the last 2 plates thus a chance to acquire an affordable copy of an important medical treatise on Venereal diseases published in 1786 and last in Auction records at $1,600. The first American edition was abridged to much less than half its original length but this French edition translates the whole work.
