Plates and their blank versos are counted in the pagination. Last leaf is a plate that was torn and repaired with old Inland Revenue stamp edges. A few other marginal tears and 2 marginal corner losses not touching print but quite some signs of use. Still a charming book bringing in other nursery rhyme characters to expand the story.These illustrations are NOT the later color printed ones published by Cassells -these are hand colored.
