Volume III, "The Grand Alliance" in 3 Issues of LIFE; 6, 20 & 27 February 1950 (along with all the other regular features & reports of current news); every issue with extensive illustrated film-review, theatre, art etc.) All magazines in good condition, but showing their age and some slight wear, central gathering of 20 Feb issue has come loose off its staples without loss. These three feature-articles differ from the printed book in that the LIFE version is illustrated and extensively annotated with historical background information from the TIME-LIFE team of writers and editors.
