Quarto gilt morocco with brass edge surrounds (lacks clasp and spine leather/covers detached) All Edges Gilt Last page of Old Testament + TP of New + last page of chronology are repaired to edges with some edge loss but no loss of print. Because all these pages are only printed on one side, repair was done on the blank side. Scattered foxing and 2 plates with marginal dampstain. A nice family bible deserving of a new spine. Cover gilt consists of rules with Greek key pattern, rules with floral corner and 2 mid-ornaments of delicate tracery and floral design. Inner rules and over 50 stylized patterns with 4 2" corner ornaments. Only minor rubbing and certainly usable in a re-spine.
